STARBREAKER SAM IN ULSTER MUSEUM


Sammy Jo Sweeney was the toast of Ulster Special Olympics recently when she was chosen to represent the region in the Ulster Sports Museum Specal Olympics section. Dame Mary Peters plus a host of sporting stars and commentators were treated to a gala evening in City Hall in Belfast to launch the Ulster Sports Museum. Sammy Jo rubbed shoulders with rugby stars David Humphries, Nigel Best plus Jackie Fullerton and Stephen Watson from television. The young Starbreaker had a wonderful evening, with her personal highlight being the opportunity to hold that Olympic Gold medal belonging to Dame Mary Peters.
All Ireland Talent Show Winner Pays A Visit


The winner of all Ireland Talent show on RTE television Miss Chloe Coyle was a very welcome guest at the Starbreakers club training session. Chloe who had a CD single out prior to her win donated half the proceeds to the Carrickmore club which in turn was spent on sum much needed new equipment. The girls and boys of Starbreakers had pictures and autographs galore from the young starlet who presented the new gear before heading off to her next engagement.
